Thornton, Asa Maxwell Farr Butterfield is a British actor best known for his role as Hugo Cabret in Martin Scorsese’s drama film “Hugo.” Butterfield, a native of London, began attending the Young Actors’ Theatre Islington on Friday afternoons when he was seven years old. Asa Butterfield had previously been linked to Ella Purnell, another English actress. They started dating in 2015, but it ended quickly. There have been rumours that he is currently dating Bulgarian-Canadian actress Nina Dobrev, however neither party has confirmed this.
